Johnny White, MS, AMFTJohnny is an associate Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with child and adolescents, families, couples and adults. A graduate of Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University, Johnny specializes in working with young adults who are seeking a better understanding of their life and challenges as they continue making transitions in their personal and professional relationships, and their relationship with themselves.
Johnny utilizes systemic and postmodern approaches, in addition to narrative and collaborative therapy techniques to facilitate the process of change with his clients. Johnny believes that everyone is an author of their own story. And as with any story, the main character experiences challenges they are working to overcome. With that said, Johnny views therapy as a collaborative process with clients to create a safe, empowering environment to comfortably explore the story of their life as they continue to write it. Johnny also works with couples and families navigating their way through challenging periods they’re experiencing, discovering together the ways in which they may attain the ideal relationship they would like to have. Johnny is an LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC friendly clinician. Johnny is under Supervision and Direction of Alex Peskin, LMFT. |
Ashley D. Murphy, MSC, AMFTAshley is an associate Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with clients navigating through the highs and lows of life. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where she earned her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. Ashley earned her B.S. in Criminology from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2014. She has spent the last 10 years of her career working in law enforcement in the Los Angeles County Jail system. As an individual who has first hand experience in the criminal justice space as both a civilian and as a law enforcement officer, she developed a passion for advocating for those who feel invisible and for those who feel they have no voice.
Ashley is also very passionate about advocacy and education for all aspects related to women’s rights and health issues, especially when it comes to the conversation around menstrual health, because no girl or woman should ever have to worry about receiving accessible care for a human need. When working with you, Ashley will use a narrative therapeutic approach. Her direct and warm nature creates a comfort for clients to learn to tell their story from their own voice. She prides herself in motivating clients to become their best, most authentic selves as they realize the power they have within. Ashley understands the challenge that comes with being in a relationship. It is her goal when working with couples to create a space that leaves room for non-judgment, acceptance, and care amongst all persons involved as you work toward strengthening your intimate connection. Ashley welcomes adolescents 13+, adult individuals, and couples. Ashley also welcomes those who work in law enforcement and the military. Ashley is an LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC friendly clinician. Ashley is under Supervision and Direction of Alex Peskin, LMFT. |
